| Abstract
painting is understood to mean a non representational way of
art. Also known as a “non figurative art” or “non objective art”
as described since early 20th century. However abstract art
expressions have been around as early as people could draw on
dirt, including Western, Islamic, and Asian cultures. Some of
the American Abstract expressionists in a purely abstract art
include: Barnett Newman, Mark Rothko, and Willem de Kooning to
name just a few. Abstract art is a distinct form of pattern
making in designing an object in a thoughtful contemplation
process; one which becomes within its own right. In today’s
world we have gain other forms of abstract art contributions
such as Constructivism (1915) and De stijl (1917) and the latest
Op art (1962) and Minimalism (1965).

| Celesty is a native of
Puerto Rico whose love of art and painting began in early
childhood. Her works of art are a designer’s choice ideal for
any sophisticated residential or commercial establishment.
During her early years her inspiration came from her love of
nature and the richness and diversity of native art. As she
evolved as a painter she gained an appreciation and interest
for abstract art and studied the style and technique of
leading abstract painters. Her contemporary style of painting
is elegant and passionate with the use of expressive and bold
colors. She draws inspiration from her deep love of art and
emotions evoked from life’s experiences. Celesty lives in
Sedona, Arizona and San Juan, Puerto Rico with her family and
shares her love of art with her daughter’s Emily and Grace. |
